It's been weeks since I last posted anything. How did that happen? Time is FLYING by. Well, here are some pictures of happenings from the last few weeks...
We had the last ladies night paddle! Sad that it ended but already looking forward to paddling with those awesome ladies next summer.

Labor Day weekend was pretty uneventful for us. We stayed local. We avoided the crowds in South Lake as much as possible. And we watched the fireworks (but none of my pictures turned out any good).
This weekend, we took some friends up to "Top Of The World" for dinner and drinks.

Yesterday evening I went to a surprise party for one of my old coworkers. It was a BLAST! She was so surprised and it was GREAT to hang out with all my old friends!

Also this weekend...
Not too long ago we got a new couch (pics of the new living room will come later) and now we both really want a coffee table. So, after shopping around and not finding what we wanted, we decided to make one.
Here's our not-quite-finished-yet, still-needs-a-second-coat, coffee table and we LOVE it!

We were walking around Lowe's looking for inspiration when I started googling pictures... we found exactly what we wanted and bought all the materials. It was SO easy to put together!
