Dedication
This will be a short post... mainly because it's late and I'm tired. Life has been awesome and exhausting lately. I love this age with Clayton but I'm still trying to figure out the mom/wife/work/life balance and that is so tiring. In a nutshell, I've been trying to get out and enjoy Tahoe more lately. I've been trying to resume some of my pre-pregnancy hobbies and although it was a challenge in the beginning (because it adds ONE more thing to do during my seemingly already packed day), I can honestly say it's been helping my mental state. I need to get out in nature and soak up the beauty around me while hopefully also squeezing in a workout (because multi-tasking is the only way this momma can get things done).
This past week I got out for a run, a paddle, and a mountain bike ride. Hallelujah!
WE RAN TO THE BEACH AND BACK TO THE CAR BEFORE THE STORM!
PUSHED BABY IN THE STROLLER AND HE ACTUALLY NAPPED!
DOGGIE GOT A GOOD SWIM AND RUN
SHHH... THERE'S A SLEEPING BABE IN THAT STROLLER!
ON THE RUN BACK TO THE CAR, Z FOUND A STICK (IT WAS PRACTICALLY A DOWNED TREE). HE TRIED HARD TO CARRY IT BUT JUST HAD TO GIVE UP.
AH YES. FINALLY.
BEAUTIFUL, PEACEFUL MORNING
JUST TESTING THE HIKING BACKPACK (A SWEET HAND-ME-DOWN FROM A CO-WORKER)
HE'S ALMOST READY FOR A HIKE!
In Clayton news:
He's been eating solids and loving it!
YUMMY OATMEAL CEREAL.
IT'S EVERYWHERE BUT HE SEEMS TO LOVE IT
MESSY SWEET POTATOES
TUMMY TIME!!!
And we participated in a parent/child dedication at church!
