This past October, Mike's mom and her husband took us out to dinner for Mike's birthday. He chose "Red Bowl" and after we indulged on delicious sushi, we cracked open our fortune cookies to find the following fortunes:
The top fortune was in Mike's cookie, and it couldn't have been more true. We had been spending lots of money on new ski gear, etc. Since we are moving to a snowy, mountainous region, any/all purchases suddenly became "practical and necessary."
The bottom fortune was mine but I think it applies to both of us!
