Y'all Pray For Me

It's December... the month of the big move!  It got here SO fast!  Mike recently gave his notice at work.  So, it's official.  No turning back now... we are going.

I'll post more about where we will be living, etc. on a later date.  In the mean time, I thought I'd share some pictures of last year's snow storm at Tahoe, just to give you all an idea of what we are potentially going to be dealing with...

Enough snow to bury the power lines.

...all of these pictures are borrowed from TahoeWeatherDiscussion.com  and most of the pictures were taken near Truckee, CA which is just North of Lake Tahoe.  We will be living at the South end of the lake, but don't be fooled into thinking it will warmer.

I'm not joking when I ask for your prayers.

And these next 2 pictures were taken by Mike.  The first was taken during our trip last November...

And this second picture was taken during his "boys only" ski trip in January a few years before.  Same cabin... more snow.

He posted the above picture to facebook a few years ago, with a caption that said: "Blair, if we can move here, I promise to shovel."  Well, get ready to do some shoveling Mike!
